"This game looks pretty but plays poorly"

submission: V E C T O R

The game looks and feels great. yur ship is a little sluggish, but i always has been in asteroid games. Some problems with game play: It's a little odd that you and your enemies can wrap around the screen but your shots can't. Secondly and most importantly, the blue triangle enemies are too powerful. Their attack can hit you no matter where you are, even beyond the range of your own weapon. They need to be toned down severely, they really ruin the gameplay. Lastly, asteroids should explode away from the player's ship. Decent game otherwise, but not that fun to play.

"Interesting game, but becomes rather long..."

submission: Zorro Team

I like the concept of this game. It gives your mouse hand (and arm) quite an exercise, so adding the "Save Game" feature was a life saver, thank you. The game is fun. The game looks and sounds crisp, and the point collection system works well (the farther a household is, the more time you have to collect its points, which is helpful). Overall, the game is amusing, although it seems somewhat less inspired than Zorro Tank, which I really liked.

However, I agree with most people here that the first few levels need to be much shorter. The first level, which is 100 seconds long, could realistically be 30 seconds and still provide people with the necessary "training."

One last thing regarding your soundtrack: The songs you use seem familiar, but they could be original and I wouldn't know. Could you list the credits for the music of the game? Thanks.

And don't worry about people criticizing you for using the Naruto characters. I thought it was quite clever how you edited them. Besides, the number of people who borrow matieral for flash submissions are innumerable. Borrowing material is the nature of the business--people need to deal with it.

"Great concept but needs some serious tuning"

This breakout game offers some really neat concepts. I like the idea of blocks remaining in play after you destroy them (the first time). The hidden blocks can be frustrating at times, but they make the game challenging.

Unfortunately, this game suffers from poor "physics." The ball does not react to the momentum of the pad. Instead, the ball's direction and speed is based solely on where it strikes the pad. Furthermore, the ball has a tendency to move either straight ahead or very horizontally, with little middle ground. The ball moves slowly, so it takes a long time for a horizontally moving ball to bounce its way from the top back to the bottom of the screen. It really hurts the pace of the game.
